LIQUID BISON BREW - TASTE PROFILE

Bison compost extract for peak flavor. Bison Extract is naturally derived from bison compost to feed the enzyme factories in your roots and shoots. Enhanced chelation of minerals for rapid growth. Makes a really nice 'instant compost tea' that will make buds swell up.

  1. Nutrient-Rich Soil Amendment: Compost tea is derived from compost, which is a valuable source of organic matter and nutrients. When the compost is steeped in water and brewed into a liquid extract, the resulting tea becomes a nutrient-rich solution. When applied to the soil, it enriches the soil with essential nutrients, promoting healthy plant growth and development.
  2. Microbial Boost: Compost tea is teeming with beneficial microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes. These microorganisms contribute to the overall microbial diversity and activity in the soil. When applied, they help improve soil fertility, nutrient cycling, and organic matter decomposition. The increased microbial activity can also suppress harmful pathogens and diseases in the soil.
  3. Soil Structure and Water Retention: The organic matter present in compost tea improves soil structure by increasing soil aggregation and porosity. This enhances the soil's ability to retain water, reducing water runoff and increasing water availability to plant roots. Improved soil structure also promotes better root penetration and aeration, leading to healthier root development.
  4. Enhanced Nutrient Uptake: The beneficial microorganisms in compost tea help break down organic matter and convert nutrients into plant-available forms. They form symbiotic relationships with plant roots, aiding in nutrient uptake and absorption. This can result in improved nutrient utilization by plants and increased nutrient efficiency.
  5. Disease Suppression: Compost tea can help suppress soil-borne diseases and pathogens. The beneficial microorganisms in the tea compete with harmful organisms for resources and space, reducing the risk of plant infections. Compost tea's disease-suppressive properties can contribute to a healthier growing environment for plants.
  6. Environmental Sustainability: Using compost tea from bison compost aligns with environmentally sustainable gardening practices. It allows for the recycling and reuse of organic waste materials, reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers and chemical inputs. Compost tea promotes a more sustainable and natural approach to plant nutrition and soil health.

Do research
Size: Small
My pups love to shred things. This was a good toy for them to satisfy their need to shred things. My dogs are on the smaller side and I went with a small. I do encourage people to do their research and not leave this toy unsupervised. If your dog eats toys they shred this might not be a good toy for you. Coconut fiber can become impacted if too much is consumed. Unlike other reviewers I didn’t notice to much of a mess outside any other toy a dog might shred.

Not Suitable for Power Chewers
Size: Large
Coconut fiber toys aren’t ideal for heavy chewers. They shred easily, can be swallowed, and may cause choking or intestinal blockages. The coffee wood is a safe durable product and loved but my dogs. I wish I would have done more research before buying the coconut fibers chew.

Dogs love them, not long lasting
Size: Large
Our dogs ignored the toy for the first day or two, then immediately became obsessed, working on them for hours at a time. They did come with big cracks/splits in them. The first one it wasn’t a big deal, but the dogs pulled large slivers and chunks off the second within minutes of using it. Also, gigantic mess around the house, like letting them play with a stick. I plan to continue to buy since the dogs love them but I do think they are a bit expensive given the quality variations.

Durable, good value, clean, natural
Size: Small, Size: Small
I bought this coffee wood toy with the coconut rope for my heavy chewer (Jack Russell Terrier) a couple of years ago. I was pretty skeptical that it would last very long and be a toy that she would enjoy. This is one of her favorite toys, it's lasted for 2+ years, and it's not gross after so much use. This dog shredded everything in sight when she was a puppy, so it was important to find her lots of different hard toys. I bought another coffee wood toy with no rope, and she doesn't care for it as much. We might have to drill a hole and add a coconut rope when this one get's too small. I have not had an issue with the coconut fibers or wood pulp, though I'm sure she's ingesting some. I have had to take away many hard toys that she managed to chew off large bits or I felt like she was eating bits of plastic, but this one has been safe for her. She was already an adult dog when I got her this toy, so I cannot vouch for how it would work for a puppy, but I suspect that it would have been a toy that I would only let her have under supervision when she was a puppy. I like that it is made from natural materials.

Flimsy rope
Size: Large
This was definitely not sturdy enough for a large dog "up to 80 lbs" as stated. My 7 month old Shepherd puppy shredded the rope part in about 5 minutes. The chew stick is a hit but very small. Flimsy for the cost!
